Mother's Day 2002

I think it turned out to be a pretty good day, if I say so myself. Trish got breakfast in bed and a brand new digital camera which ought to have been unexpected, since I love SLR cameras. But needless to say, that camera got a lot of use that day.

Kayley all ready for her first concert

Kayley and Trish at Yoshi's for the Brad Mehldau trio. Yoshi's has a great program where every Sunday's matinee, it's open to people to bring kids. Not necessarily a kids' show, but a way to expose children to jazz.

We've had rabbits in our yard for probably half a year now. I'm not sure if they've actually set up home on our yard, but we see them daily now. This one was tame enough to let Kayley pet him. Or her. (It wasn't tame enough for me to bother fondling it to find out)

Trish washed her car, I washed my bike, Kayley got dirty.

Finally, the day wrapped up at one of our favourite restaurants, Almafi's in Walnut Creek.
