SouthWind Adventures | Our trip was booked through Southwind Adventures that offers wonderful
package tours, and are very easy to work with.
|
TerraQuest | TerraQuest's Galápagos website is a great way to see what it's
like to travel to the Islands through their Daily Dispatches. All
their websites are easy to navigate, and very informative.
|
Charles Darwin Research Station | The Charles Darwin Research Station website isn't very flashy,
but does show you what the station is currently working on.
|
La Selva Lodge | La Selva has a webpage that gives a sampling of what it has
to offer!

Galapagos: Islands Born of Fire, by Tui De Roy. A wonderfully written book accompanied by impressive photography by Tui De Roy, this book was my first starting point for learning about the ecology of the islands.
Let's Go Ecuador, Editor Esti M. Iturralde, 1999. A bit light on Galapagos info, it's still a handy book to have around for learning about Ecuador.
A Traveler's Guide to the Galapagos Islands, by Barry Boyce, 3rd Edition, 1998. This was my main travel guide, and it provided great background material and accurate advice. Well written throughout, the only problem is that it only mentioned Renato's pop's hotel (the Sol Y Mar) briefly :)
Reef Fish Identification: Galápagos, by Paul Humann. Our snorkelling bible, we consulted it after almost every snorkelling trip.
