Ever go looking for a place to hook a bungee cord on your bike, and not find a good one? You can use the seat pan, but it doesn't insure that it won't slide backwards on your seat. There's the footpeg bracket, but it's kind of far away. Where to hook, where to hook... |
That was my problem, and then I came up with this solution! These nifty USA made alloy spools replace the top suspension bolt of your Triumph Bonneville, Thruxton, America, or Speedmaster! Affixed with a stainless steel bolt. Not only are you replacing a plain old bolt wiuh something that is both trick and unobtrusive at the same time, but you have a functional bungee hook. |
I've run these on my bike for 8 months, and they are great for strapping packages to run to the post office, to hauling tents, sleeping gear, even with saddlebag supports mounted beneath 'em.
